Conquering Quarter Life Crisis
I was surfing The Daily Muse, and found this really interesting article “Dealing With Depression at Work: What You Need to Know”.
In the article, there’s some tips and techniques to overcome depression at work.. and it also introduces me to this book about conquering quarter life crisis which I can find at Kobo! *YEY* The happy thing is, I have the urge to read this book really quickly and Kobo simply helped me by having it in their catalogue. I could buy this book, download (on my ipad and iphone) and read it really quickly now with Kobo.. all thanks to online technology! I LOVE YOU!

New iPad
Felt like a kid when my new iPad arrived in my office through courier…
Thing is, I did not get to sign the package, and knew that my colleague signed for me through the tracking website DHL had… So I quickly asked her and found out that she went to the rest room with my iPad sitting on her table!!! Panic I was, I quickly retrieve it and open it up like a Christmas pressie…
It feels good to pamper yourself with new gadgets other than clothes or shoes that make you prettier….

The art of project management
If there is ever a statue made in honor of good project managers, I suspect the inscription would say “Bring me your randomized, your righteously confused, your sarcastic and bitter masses of programmers yearning for clarity.”
The art of project management by Scott Berkun
I was randomly surfing the web for work related stuff and stumble upon this article…
This article provides good checkpoint and insight for me as an assistant project manager in my current job.

Our first milestone
One milestone check!
I would like to give J and myself a pat on the shoulder and shout “Yes we made it!”.
After years of studying and entering the workforce for 3 years, we manage to afford the down payment for a house at Queenstown!
It was a tough journey, lots of paperwork was involved. Nonetheless, it was worth it! In exchange, we got our love nest.
It’s a pretty good location, 10-15 minutes walk to the Queenstown Mrt station (super plus). 5 minutes walk to Dawson shopping place, a humble shopping center with everything you need e.g. bakery, childcare center, ntuc, foodcourt, clinic, electronics store, household products, clothes. About 10 minutes bus drive to Orchard road. About 15 minutes drive to Tanjong Pagar where I currently work.
Time to focus on our next milestone!
